2 holiday cottages in a stunning countryside location
Our modern, semi detached holiday cottages are set in a rural location on the fringe of a working farm with horses and sheep. Stabling and grazing are available together with BHSI tuition, by direct arrangement with the owner.
Conveniently placed for exploring the bustling town of Blackpool, with its famous tower and Pleasure Beach. The Southern Lakes and Trough of Bowland are a little further afield and offer spectacular scenery. Alternatively there is easy walking or cycling direct from the door. Shop and pub 11/2 miles
The working farm Breeds horses and also breeds Pedigree working Labrador puppies. There are some 40 acres of land here and guests are welcome to join the local footpath networks via our land. Horses can be accommodated with use of paddock or stable and use of large outdoor school.
Hacking is varied but is all fairly flat , however the roads are quiet in comparison with many. Guests may wish to box up and travel into the Trough of Bowland where there are some fabulous rides with stunning scenery.
Both cottages have Gas CH, elec, bed linen and towels inc. Elec cooker. M/wave. W/machine. Slimline d/washer. Lawned garden with patio and furniture. Stabling and grazing by arrangement with owner. Parking (3 cars). Sorry, no smoking please and no pets allowed.
